Type of award:
Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at postsecondary institution. Designated Institutions: Louisiana public institutions.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Louisiana.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility. FAFSA. Students at military academies not eligible. Award may be used for tuition for schools outside Louisiana.
Additional information: Minimum 3.5 GPA and 23 ACT or 970 SAT score.

Louisiana Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) Award
Type of award:
Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at designated institutions. Eligible Louisiana postsecondary institutions.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Louisiana.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility. FAFSA, SAT or ACT scores.
Additional information: Open to Louisiana residents who will be first-time full-time freshmen at Louisiana public or LAICU private postsecondary institution no later than fall following first anniversary of high school graduation. Must have no criminal convictions.

Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or graduate study at 4-year graduate institution.
Eligibility: For Louisiana residents attending public college studying wildlife, forestry, or marine sciences.

Louisiana Veterans Affairs Educational Assistance for Dependent Children
Type of award:
Scholarship, renewable.
Intended Use: Scholarship for full time undergraduate, graduate, or non degree study at vocational, two or four year designated institutions. Applicant must reside in Louisiana and be dependent on a disabled veteran or a deceased veteran.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be single. Applicant must reside in Louisiana and be dependent on a disabled veteran or a deceased veteran. Applicant must be at least 16 and no older than 25.
Additional information: Award is a tuition waiver at all Louisiana state-supported schools. Veteran must have been Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to entering service. Disability must be at least 90 percent as rated by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to qualify.
