Eligibility: Applicant must be a California high school student who plan to attend a California State University and must have worked in the last seasons grape harvest. Must be enrolled in an accredited California University and have personal references.

GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship
Type of Award: Scholarship, renewable
Intended use: For undergraduate study only at a 4-year college or university. Designated institutions: Colleges in the United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and attending high school in the United States. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
Application requirements: Must demonstrate at the school, at the workplace, and in the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.
Additional information: Must be nominated by a community leader such as a high school principal, elected official, or executive director of a non-profit organization. California resident at least one year before applying. Minimum 3.0 GPA / 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Amount of award: $10,000 renewable for up to an additional 3 years. Up to $40,000 total per recipient.

Application deadline: Qualified applicants may apply online starting October 15 thru January 10 or until 25,000 applicants are submitted, whichever comes first. To be considered for this award, candidates must complete the secure online application and all of it's components prior to the deadline.

Marin Education Undergraduate Scholarships

Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation Awards
Food Services and Hospitality Industry
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must be a California resident who is seeking an undergraduate degree majoring in food service at a two or four year college, university, or technical institution. Applicant must be a full time student who has graduated from high school and completed at least one semester with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or must be a part time student working in the food service industry at least twenty hours a week with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
