First impressions are everything, because it sets the stage for the entire date. How you look, how you dress, and how to present yourself, goes a long way in making a good impression. Personal hygene is a must, so beforehand, make a trip to the barber shop, or beauty shop, and always, dress to impress.

Even though you are excited about going on your blind date, however, this is your first meeting. You may feel a bit more comfortable if you are in the presence of a mutual friend, or on a double date. If not, make sure that a friend or family member know where you are going and the name of the person you are going out with, and carry a cell phone.

Going on a blind date is similar to going on a regular date, it's just you have never before seen the person that you are going on the date with. A blind date should be taken as a way to meet someone who may possibly turn out to be a special person in your life.
